Please help........ what is the best variety to grow in a cool greenhouse ? ??? ???

I find World Beater and California Wonder fine but many of the others have different choices... OH thinks Marconi, a long red one very good!

Gypsy is very prolific and reliable. Freezes well, too.

Lipstick is another good variety.

Just make sure that it matches the colour of your wellies, angle shades ;Ds

This is another one sourced from a supermarket shelf in Calahonda in Spain and it was huge when I first saw it. When I grew it it wasn't quite as large as seen here;

Note the bench laths are 3" wide (75mm) to give some indication of size.
BTW how did those people I sent some seed to last year get on? I know it wasn't a good year for pepper growing but would be interested to know.

But I guess I will do as I have done for years now and that is.........use my own seed.
Plus the fact it is more economical, it would cost me around £50 for the amount I grow whereas my way will only cost me a bit of compost & heat.

You sent me some of your pepper seeds last year. They all germinated beautifully, I had 2 of each plants. I gave my daughter a couple of plants as well. Hers grew and matured very well........she kept them on the windowsill. Nice hot south facing.
I put mine outside hoping.....as you do.....for a nice summer ::) they grew well and developed fruit, unfortunately there wasn't enough heat or sun for them to ripen. So we had green ones. They would have been sweeter if the growing conditions were warmer.
My daughter said hers were lovely ;D Soooo........I have some seed left, I will grow under cover this year. Now we will have a scorcher of a summer ::) ;D ;D ;D
