Just got a kit off Freecycle and am getting back into it after a 20 year break!!!!

blimey youre clever ;D
Oh wow Caroline, it is 20 years since I did it too, in fact I still have a piece on my pillow, just sitting there waiting for time to do it.
With it being so frosty out there this is the perfect time really isn't it? I am quite envious but being as I have just agreed to cover someone's job for 6 weeks as she has a broken arm I am not sure I will have the time yet, one day.....
Enjoy getting back into lacemaking, what will you make? Would love to see a photo of what you make. ;)
There is a group in our village and one day I shall join it.... :)

It is sooooo absorbing. I didnt get to bed till well after midnight as I wanted to finish it. ::)
Going to try something a bit more exciting next. Probably will take a while though.
Managed to get 6 balls of cotton in cream colour for £2.50 at a charity shop. Not sure ,but I think that was a real bargain.

Oops, hopefully its here now ::)

Looks lovely Caroline, well done.
I remember the urge to carry on through the night, once you get started you can't stop, just a bit more, just a bit more and suddenly it's really late. Enjoy yourself.
