We had roast chicken, sausages, roast pots. carrots, peas etc. etc.  Rhubard crumble and cream for afters but too full up.  Rhubard from the allotment, frozen from summer.  Also cooked spagetti bolognese sauce to freeze and cooked a lasagne for tomorrow night.  It was the only warm place in the house in the kitchen.  Then took the Christmas tree down, not sure what date one is meant to do it.  Recycled all the cards, except for two special ones.  Will have a good tidy up tomorrow, when OH has gone back to work and I have a clear run.

Pah, small jacket spud with no butter or cheese, just a dollop of home made chilli made with lean mince.  Whoopee!  I had better have some good bloody news on Ace's thread on Saturday or the Quality Street come back off the top shelf!

Tomorow night will be nicer mind, home made chicken and leek soup - local chook and leeks from the lottie.  Yum.

As I'm fighting a losing battle with my weigh scales I kept it simple tonight. Baked Amish pumpkin stuffed with mince, onion and garlic.
