Title: Damson Problem
Post by: mellor on January 03, 2009, 14:44:05
Hi All

I moved my young damson tree last year and during the summer it seems that i may have had an aphid problem, i've just noticed today that the bark is part covered in a green mouldy type substance?

Anyone know if this is a a result of the aphid and how best to remove? any lasting damage?

Thanks is advance.

Damsons are fairly indestructible... is it not just lichen/moss of some sort? It has been a very wet Summer.  ???
