We went out to Carsington... wasn't quite as rugged as that. :)
OMG, that looks SO cold, TG. It reminds me of when I stayed with my cousins in Munich and we went to the lake (where they used to drive cars on the ice in the old days!). The little waves lapping at the edge were sluggish and mushy with the ice forming. Brrrrr.
Lovely pics, tho, esp of the swans. :) :)
