To get fed up with all this cold meat. I could do with some bangers and mash. Only a few days and the resolutions will have to be taken. After last years giving up smoking, which I am still doing, I piled on a bit of weight, so this years pledge will be to loose 4 or 5 stone. Bread and water for a month should help.
I don't miss the cigarettes but I think I will take it up again when I am 70. I will be too old then for it to do me any harm.It will also give me something to look forward too.
Well done for giving up smoking. It isn't easy.
If you promise to walk for at least one and a half hours on Saturday and Sunday then you will lose the weight.
You will not lose any weight if you stop in the pub after 45 minutes so start out about 8.00am each day.
OH dad is 98 and he has smoked all his life. He occasionally stops for a week or so and then takes it up again. He has an annual MOT and the doctor always says he shouldn't smoke as it will shorten his life LOL. I don't think the doctor realises how much he lies when he is asked how much he drinks LOL.

But you'll pong of old fags again Ace and there will be few places where you can smoke and be warm/sociable/etc...and think how else you could spend the dosh, but maybe you are a miwyonaire already.

I ain't worried about myself smelling, smoke smells better than p!ss which seem to happen as you get older. Prison! now that seem a better altenative to an old peoples home. Interesting company, good food, nice and warm, and a bed for life. I bet the inmates look after the old boys better than your relatives/social workers etc. I could even volunteer for garden duties.
Now all I need is somebody who wants euthanasia in a few years time. I can do us both a favour.
