.... you had a poly tunnel? what would you grow in a different way and what different veg/fruit would you grow?
I'm trying to decide wether a poly tunnel would be worthwhile on my allotment and also wether it justifies the extra expense, the ones I've looked at are approx £300-£350, anybody using one?
Thanks. :)

Not at the moment as the wind tore the cover... and we got a 10x12' greenhouse to replace it cheaper than a new cover, but I've had it ten years and will be resiting it soon!!
;D

bit about it ;D
hope the link works, if not, it comes up on search
Tomatoes, tomatoes and more tomatoes. sweet peppers, melons, cucumbers etc.
If I had to choose between my shed and the small greenhouse I would go with the greenhouse (or in your case a poly tunnel).
In early spring it's loaded with sowing trays as well.
