Title: Moving house
Post by: trinity on December 15, 2008, 21:32:19
I am going to be moving house soon ;D I get the keys on tomorrow and my tenancy starts on Monday ;D

Its a housing associations property and has a very big garden ;D which has been rotivated by the association (arrrrrrrr)

as many of you know I currently live at my mom and dads as when I divorced my husband (very nasty ) I could not keep repaying the mortgage when the divorce when through (2 years after we split up) I let my husband have the house, and moved in with my new partner as I found out I was pregnant But we only stayed there for two weeks as he became violent towards me and my kids. So I had no choice but to move back in with mum and dad :-\

so as I cannot afford privately rented housing (I could afford a studio flat! ) I have been waiting for 3 years for a house

I cannot wate it will be so nice not to have to share a room with my kids ;D going to go and clean it tomorrow and am so excited  ;D ;D ;D

but as I will not have a computer I will not be on hear as often but will only be on once or twice a week so if it dose take a while for me to answer any one sorry  :P

Good luck with the move, Trinity, you'll have it just how you want it in time for Christmas. You'll feel a different person once you've settled in and can shut the door and say "I'm home".   :) :) :) :) :)

All the very very very best for the move...bet you'll not sleep much tonite with the excitement...your own keys, your own house....finally after what seems a hell of a bad time, the sun's gonna shine on you and your children - whatever the weather!

Your HA sounds a good one to have rotavated the garden, you know - OK there may be all sorts of weeds spread around :-\, but it's better than leaving you with rubble and rubbish and rusty bedsprings isn't it?

Look forward to hearing how you're settling in when you've time.

Lish x

Oh what a wonderful early Christmas gift to get your own keys.
The garden sounds just what you need too. You'll have that sorted in no time, just ready for the planting season and it will be right outside your door too.
I'm sure your children will enjoy watching everything grow and have lovely fresh fruit and veg to eat also.
Wishing you all the best for the future.

Lauren  :)

What fantastic news Trinity.  So very pleased for you - you have been so patient and deserve it.  Is the garden big enough for you to give up your lottie then?  Try and keep in touch with us and let us know how you are getting on.  Have a great Christmas.

I hope you'll be very happy in your new home Trinity.

Look on the bright side, if you'd got the keys in summer, you'd have to choose between cleaning and decorating and the lottie.  No contest!

Yes, perfect timing! Gives you a few months to get the garden straightened out. I'm making slow progress on mine - though I'm all too aware that it'll suddenly be the spring and I won't be ready! :-D
Got loads of flower bulbs starting off in pots and trays though, till I decide where to put them, so I'm hoping it will be a riot of daffodils in February. You can buy large bags of daff bulbs very cheap at the moment, Trinity! :-D
