Title: Caribbean spices?
Post by: caroline7758 on December 15, 2008, 17:25:49
Watched an old HFW programme last night where he went to a takeaway in Birmingham to get a recipe for goat curry (or curry goat as the locals insisited!). The owner of the recipe didn't give away what his "caribbean spices" were. Any ideas?

Not really, but does HF-W have a river cottage website that gives his recipes.  It may not give the exact spice blend, but could give an 'as good as'. ;D

Thought Goats were mostly Indian?

Apart from one-per-person Chickens, that's all we ever had.

We used to eat goat in Saudi.   ::) ::) ::) ::)  It was called a goat grab.  Sheep was a mutton grab.
