Title: Foxgloves
Post by: kenkew on December 14, 2008, 13:14:24
Last year I collected wild foxglove seed from my local wood. The plants are in my garden. They are about 15" high with masses of leaf.
I'm keen to return them to the wood but just when and how?
Thanks, Ken.

I would say anytime through the dormant time as long as the ground isnt frozen, failing the temps being right.....early spring. Then use leaf litter around the base to protect from late frosts ;)

They are fully hardy, even frost hardy. I find they transplant  easily from autumn through to spring.
