I have just returned to UK after working abroad for most of this year. Most of my sprouts have blown and my Tundra cabbages are still forming their hearts. My fast growing cauliflowers I sowed when I came home on a 2 week holiday ain't growing so fast afterall. Likewise with my winter lettuce and spring cabbages. My OH never had time for our garden at home neither which is now mostly covered in weeds. The wind this past week has trashed my garden fence.
I have 6 weeks holiday before returning to work. Not to be defeated - the holiday will be spent repairing the fence and preparing the ground for next years adventure. ;)
Well, you'd only have been putting your feet up otherwise wouldn't you?
;D
