Jolly well didn't! 31st October, just like every other year 8) Thought nothing could go wrong, but then..... :-[

I topped up the water from the COLD water tap on the 10th :o and brought them off the boil  :o

So we're having our Christmas Dinner on Boxing Day this year - can't stand undercooked sprouts ;D

What's all this sudden panic over sprouts? Christmas is still weeks away. All I have to do is to remember to harvest them a day or two before.

We harvest them on Christmas morning.  No point in being too previous.  :) :) :) :)

We are planning to harvest them on xmas day too. We have grown 'falstaff' purple sprouts. I am presuming they will go green on cooking?

Got two lots on the go - put the first lot on Good Friday and they're simmering away nicely on a low heat. (Remembered to cut a cross into the base, just like me mum did, so they cook well inside.)

The other lot will be harvested Christmas morning and boiled for three minutes....

(Hated sprouts as a child. Love them now!)

There's a problem with the sprouts here in Cheltenham, our local thieving b*****d thinks the absolute world of them!. Two plots have been totally striped of them.

And here I sat, assuming the majority of people disliked them.

The gas bill for cooking this Christmas is not going to be much!!!!.
