Title: Strawberry plant thief!
Post by: Ninnyscrops. on November 23, 2008, 22:08:22
Anyone know what critter might have made away with a seed tray full of strawberry plants outside the back door, apart from the human variety?

Gave my son's girlfriend a trayful and they've just gone overnight!

I had this happen last year just after Chrismass. When I questioned the likely suspect (who just happened to have a new tray of strawberries in late Dec. [ie before mail order deliveries or in the GCs), he took great offence and threatened to smash my face in.

Only seen him once since then and didn't speak.

Sorry to hear that Mark45 and Pesky Wabbit - that's really mean  >:(

Son and gf live in quite a rural spot so was thinking more, squirrel, badger, deer or some other 4-legged fiend. If none of these then must have been a 2-legged ratbag!
