I spotted this while browsing the Horticulture Weekly website:

One thing going against me I think is the fact that I have never been to collage or university.... So no qualifications

If you are really in to Horticulture I suggest you may enjoy a course at college.

Had a look where you are and a few colleges within fairly short distance. :)

Sell yourself on experience, Richard...all the classroom stuff in the world doesn't equal your hands-on knowledge, remember that, eh and don't sell yourself short 8)
