Title: Washing machine drum as incinerator?
Post by: caroline7758 on November 09, 2008, 17:17:03
I have been offered a washing machine drum in reply to my ad on feecycle asking for anything to use as a garden incinerator. Can anyone foresee any problems with this (apart from the size, possibly)?

As long as it's a steel one.

You won't get much stuff in it though.

Don't forget to add a calgon tablet with every load. ;D

Stops the build up of calcium in a soft water area. ;)

Washing machine drums are used lots for camp fires (when I lived in Canada). They make fabi wood burners. Just add four bricks (in a square) for the base or use metal pipe for four legs. All the airholes are done for you. Go for it.  ;)
