a secret santa this year?
oh i do hope so.
i asked on last years thread and was told that it went well so would most likely happen again
lbb
it was great last year
It worked really well last year, but it needs someone to organise it. (No, sorry, I'm not volunteering!)
It was lovely last year :D, but Im with Caroline...........no organiser me either ::)
Volunteers step this way................ ;D
It would be great !!!!
If no one else wants to do it i might step forward but might be easier for who ever ran it last year ;D
it shouldnt involve too much organising, whoever does it takes all the names and addresses via pm then when everyone has joined put the names on a list and a copy of each in a hat and pull one out. give the first name out of the hat to the first one on the list and so on and so forth, should work ;D
then pm each person with the name and address of who they need to buy a present for.
im happy to organise if no one else wants to ;D
bump
I don't mind volunteering if no one else can ;D ;D
Looks like we have a winner................HipHip.......HOORAY ;D ;D
Is that Lauren, debster or flowerofshona? ???
Can I play this year please? ;D

how cool, i am happy not to do it if poss cos i am organising another one on another forum, hope you dont mind me nicking your programme to do mine
cheers
debs ;D
nae probs!
Heard so many good things about last year's, I'd be delighted to join this one.
Ooo me to, I would love to join in the fun. ;D
Count me in, please.
Can you explain it, please, to those who weren't around (or too grumpy :-[) to have read the original thread last year?
I take it these are surprise prezzies...gardening related?....is there a max spend amount for the prezzie?
Thanks,
Lishka x
ok yes we set a spend limit i think it was £5 last year, can be garden orientated not necessarily though.
organiser takes the names and addresses of all who want to join in and makes a list, then writes all the names out on pieces of paper and puts these in a hat, then they pull a name out of the hat and the person on the list buys a present for the person on the piece of paper carry on with this untill all have someone to buy for (though there is now a computer programme to do it)
people get sent via email the name and address of the person they need to buy for and it is all secret they then post it o the recipient and everyone opens them on the same day, can then say who they sent to
does that make sense?
debs
No it doesnt make sense................ ;D ;D ;D...only joking.Add me to the list please....who do I PM?
Makes total sense. Thanks Debs ;)
im not sure who is going to be running it so watch this space
