Title: Autumnwatch
Post by: Rhubarb Thrasher on October 28, 2008, 09:54:37
did I miss B Oddie being Mr Grumpypants last night? Is it worth watching, or is he just too irritating?

it was a good show last night and really enjoyed all the banter between the presenters.

hee hee i know Mr Oddie gets on some peoples goat, but i like his jovial shenanigans.

i loved the piece done on the wasp, very informative.

I like the show, and Bill, although he can rub people up the wrong way is full of information. I don't think that him and Kate get on as well as they portray. Kate's face sometimes speaks volumes of irritation :D

They seem to battle for who is going to speak about what.......and Kate I noticed a long time ago talks over the top of him, maybe she's under orders as Bill does tend to waffle a bit.

A bit like this post really ;D ;D ;D

I thought it was Bill who talked over Kate. I wondered if they chose her because she was the only person they could find to work with him who didn't want to wring his neck, but there's a quote from her in today's paper that says that sometrimes she want to wring his neck  ;D

shame really as B Oddie could have been a National Treasure. The Goodies were a lot funnier than Monty Python IMHO

agree - thought he spoke over her and she is just fighting back ...   might be slightly influenced by my dislike in the man

That was funny!  Interesting watching the bits on the fallow deer rut.  Our site is part of Bushy Park so I've been hearing the 'groaning' on the other side of the wall for several weeks now.

I don't mind Bill and Kate.  Thought Bill was a bit moody looking last night but they are a pair of happy bunnies tonight.

great show tonight, loved all the info on the deer rut, seeing Chris as well was a bonus, i love to see people sharing their passions, especially if its to do with wildlife and conservation because as far back as i can remember i have also been into the samething. i just wish i did make it my career as i intially planned, ho hum :-\.
