i saw gordon ramsey while i was cannel hopping the other day showing some one how to make a broccolli soup. the idea was that it didnt need messing about with - just broccolli and stock.
well i had two heads of broccolli in the fridge waiting to be used and i thought i would try it in a soup. i am not a huge broccolli fan so i didnt hold out much hope.
fried an onion a a bit of garlic popped in a bit of ginger for luck. a stock cube and some water and the broccolli. boiled for about ten minutes till broccolli soft. whizzed up in whizzer; season and eat.
absolutely delicious. really do try it even if you not keen on broccolli. its great. :D
