Title: Living Stones
Post by: hopalong on October 18, 2008, 20:04:10
The "Living Stones" - Lithops and Lapidaria - on the bathroom windowsill suddenly burst into flower at this time of year.  Very exciting!  Here is a pic of some of them.[attachment=1]

I used to be into cacti in a big way when I lived in Italy and could grow them outdoors and I loved these. Wonder if Palustris has them in his glasshouse? Remember he's got quite a variety...if you have, Eric, can you put a picture up for us? Thanks.

No, sorry not one of the things I have ever managed to grow. Heavens above we do have over 3,000 differnt things, hard to try everything.
Beautiful plants and pictures though.
