Can anyone recommend a globe-shaped, early season, red onion - seed or sets. Getting a bit bored of Red Baron......

I grew Red Karmen this year- they did well but can't remember how they compare to red Baron.

I grew Red Karman as well,and not one bolted a first for me. :)

Red Electric, I've grown it the past 2 years with very few bolting, and have just put another lot from Tuckers in today! ;D

I've also grown Red Karmen the last 2 years and had good results with no bolting.  Year before had Red Brunswick and they were not good.

Thanks Sawfish - that seems to be the ticket. Sensible quantities - might try a few Golden Bear while I'm at it  :)

I see that moles seeds do a red onion set that is heat treated which stops it bolting, never came across these before so do not know how they preform
