In Sarah Ravens cookbook she suggests storing roasted garlic heads in olive oil-which I would like to give a go! However reading earlier threads this does not sound good practice. Has anyone tried this or any thoughts? if not this has any one tried freezing roasted garlic?
Second question - since fresh garlic freezes fine for cooking, as opposed to snacking, then roasted should be the same.
What do you mean Tim? " as opposed to snacking"

Tim, do you freeze it raw, whole bulbs or cloves, peeled or unpeeled? Excuse my ignorance.
Whole cloves.
Snacking?
I guess you snack on them? like pickled onions ? I dunno just wondering what you meant by "as opposed to snacking on your earlier post of this thread.
Maybe I am having a dim wit moment!! :P

Yes - but I don't have enough to do my own, so I get them from Tesco.
Lots of ideas on the net - eg: http://www.cooks.com/rec/view/0,1636,155172-224197,00.html
