Title: Mouldy Basil
Post by: DebbieP on October 09, 2008, 12:28:26
I'm growing some basil in pots, we kept it outside for the summer and have been bringing it in on colder nights.  First time I bought it in I noticed a white fuzzy mould creeping up some of the stems after it had been inside for a couple of days.  I put it back outside and it seemed to dissapear.  Now it is back with avenegence - it seems to kill the stem it's on as the leaves go brown and wilt. Any ideas?  I wondered if it was maybe too damp?

It sounds that way. Fungi like damp. Wherever you're putting it indoors, can you give it more ventilation?
