Hi
Can anybody help me out with a Daubenton's Kale cutting please, or guide me to where I can get hold of one.
Might be able to arrange a swap for J/Artichoke, Cardoon, Sea Kale, Yacon for anyone who can supply one and I'm happy to pay postage.
Many thanks
Spinny
Welcome to the forum Spinny ;). Is this Kale perennial? Its new to me so I cant help you.
Hope someone can oblige though :)
hiya, spinny, nice to meet you ;D
new one to me, too ???
hi and welcome, this is a new one for me as well. i wiki-ed it and my interest is truly peaked ;). can't help with the swap, pity as I'm after some sea kale and Yukon for next year. are you into weird, wacky, ''out of style'' and heritage veges ???. I'm going to try and do something different each year :). anyway good luck with the hunt ;).
Thanks for the warm welcome :-)
Yes, Daubenton's Kale is a perennial and a true one doesn't set seed so it's only available as cuttings.
I'm into Perennial veg primarily, but grow lots of unusual vegetables on an allotment scale. You could try my website for more information: www.perennialveg.org.uk Please bear in mind that it's still under construction and I tend to update it only in the winter because I'm too busy in the garden for the rest of the year......

I doubt that it will ever actually be 'finished' - there will always be something new to add.....

There's a fair few on here growing unusual veg, Spinny, from all over the country. Whereabouts are you?
Hi Amazin
I'm in the South Wales Valleys.
'Valleys' doesn't say it all though - in reality it's 1200' up a Welsh mountain.
