Title: Yale wirefree burglar alarms
Post by: northener on October 06, 2008, 15:49:21
Thinking of installing one. Anybody got one? Was told a few year ago to stay well clear of wirefree because they were a nuisance for false alarms. Good offer at screwfix at the moment.

If you are thinking of one of the sub £20 type shed alarms, I would say forget it.  I had one and thought it was rubbish.  The key fob remote packed up in no time - within a couple of month  Would have took the whole thing back to B&Q if I could have found the receipt

No its domestic burglar alarm should be £180 reduced to £90

That should be OK then and that is a good price ?  Where have you seen that please - at that price, wouldn't mind one for my garage and shed at the bottom of the garden
