I just cut the stems with the seed pods and put them upside down in a paperbag.
The bag I hang in a warm place with air circulation.
When the pods are dry you can rub them off the stems and into the bag. Then I normally crush the pods and catch the seeds in the bag. To get rid of the pod shells I empty the bag in a shallow bowl and blow the shells away. You better do this outside  ;D
It's fun.
Good luck.

Do you want to be saving the offspring of a plant that went straight to seed?  Just a thought
