Title: Tim: Naan, please read?
Post by: katynewbie on September 30, 2008, 13:21:17
A while ago, on some thread I have forgotten about, some of us confessed to buying naan.

Tim, you said you made your own, is this the recipe? I know you are a fan!

Actually, no. Haven't tried Mamta's.

It was me that bought naan bread, thanks for the recipe but I am lazy so will still buy it.  Making the curry was enough cooking for me, used up loads of veg from the allotment.

And why not?

But some bought ones are much better than others.

In my opinion, the fancier ones (like Taste the Difference) are usually the worst... Plain supermarket ones less so, and the best bought ones are to be found in you nearest Indian food shop...

 ;D

Thanks, I know it's cheap and easier to buy them, just thought it would be fun.

Will have a go at your recipe Tim.

I make the dough in the bread maker then cook under a very hot grill  :)
