Thanks to Jeannine (xx) for the fabulous seeds I now have two lovely Cinderella pumpkins growing.
One is a little smaller than the other but that's ok. It's my first attempt and I'm thrilled ;D

I am so proud of you well done, beautiful. XX Jeannine
These look like the colour of mine. Do you know if they should go a darker orange?
I have one that is massive and the stalk/stem is still orange. One on a different plant though has stopped growing and the stalk has turned green. Its not huge but a good size.
All are still light orange. Need to know if they will be ready for halloween - do the stalks need to go green?
Thanks
That looks a fabulous pumpkin. Unique in colour and a nice rounded shape. Decent size for halloweening too. I definitely will put that on my shopping list for January as a must.
Just for interest, this one has two names and is sold under both.
Cinderella which is the one I like or Rouge Vif D'Etampes, it is a a maxima .
It can be used as a summer squash if picked immature or run on to a mature pumpkin.
The colour will change when cured to a deep red/orange.
It is flattened in shape with ribs and some grow more flattened than others.
Very old variety from Paris.
It looks good if you have a display of pumpkins for Hallowen as it's shape is different and it sets off a mixed shape bunch.
Lovely to see it growing
