Well, I had this problem. I came across an old vac nozzle in the shed and didn't know what to do with it. Any sane person would have thrown it out, but being a Lottie type I thought, 'That's got to be some use.'
With the help of a couple of other items, it's now something else very practical.
Just for fun, have a guess what it ends up as. (The none lottie/garden 'project' took just a couple of min's.)
OK! Stuck. eh? Last clue.
paint brush /tool holder?
Sorry............no idea :)
Scissors are a tool, got to let you have that Tony. Good guess for a first go.
I do a fair bit of wallpapering and going up and down ladders doesn't do my ancient knees any good. So...put all the bits together and my legs end up happier extentions!
After wifey takes the scissors and performs a Bobbit ...
... the tube can be used to hold your pen15 in while you tape it back together.
That was an easy one. Here's one I'm on with now. Hope to finish this week-end.
Again, just for fun; Have a go at what this will end up as.
The zip on my deco bag has burst! So the top flap I have plans for. I've got this far so-far. What's it gonna be?
Are you going to use the flap as a strap fastened with the velcro to keep your bag together Ken?
You been watching to much of Blue Peter lately?? :)

not really interested but some one might be if your back on the leader board.betula blue peter is 50 this year by the way
are you making a wallet?
I know what it is............................Ken's making a thong ;D
;D ;D@ Sinbad. Velcro and 'The Full Monty' come to mind so you could be right.
I keep coming back to have a look but I think I give in now Ken. Any chance of a pic of the finished product?
Hi Emaggie,
I think the clue was in 'all the bits'. The long thick piece will be cut down the middle and velcro'd together for the waist band, the small strips will velcro onto the square and the waist band and the square is for 'all the bits' to sit snuggly in. I do wonder if Ken is planning on joining a choir as this could make him sing in a falsetto voice :o

Only just spotted this!!! Hahahahaha!!!
BAAAAAAAA........!!
I didnt get it till Ollie laughed ;D ;D......................thanks Ollie, I'd still be oblivious if you hadn't pointed it out ;D ;D ;D ;D
A sheath to hold another tool, a ruler? velcroed to your step stool on the other side opposite your scissors. Can't think what other tools you'd need for wallpapering except a pencil but that's what ears are for.
You're soooo Green, Kenkew.
it going to be a hard on restraint so he can strap it to his leg so his wife cant see it :)
Missed putting the finished article.

Here's another sumfink from Noffink.
Bit of wood.
[attachment=1]
Cut it up, drill a hole and slice a few bits off.
[attachment=2]
Cut a bit more off and apply a bit of boot polish.
[attachment=3]
Put a bit of string in and tie a fancy knot.

Add a name and you have a unique pressy for less than 10 pence!

It's a paper knife. (Did I need to say that?)
Working on a couple of wood based ash-trays.....that should go down well these days......... :o
Quite impressed by the sewing!
I've got some old discarded roman blinds which are going to become a series of pockets on the inside of my shed door to hold small tools etc.

Well; You get hold of a few sheets of Roman Blind stuff, a hot iron, a bit of aluminium from a wardrobe door, a piece of glass from some old spectacles and some sticky-backed tape...
You mean make the camera? I've got the camera....it's posting photo's on here I haven't got round to yet....except for one photo comp.
Got to decide what I want to put in the pockets.......e.g. String pocket will need an eyelet in the corner to pull string thru'.

I use quite a bit of string/cord. I have the balls in large bacca tins with a hole in the plastic top. Works a treat.
