has anyone got any ideas what i can do different with tomatoes, we just have so many of them :)

You can freeze them :)

well I sliced some up today (only partly ripe) plus a few green ones and added to some chunks of marrow I was sauteeing in mixture of butter & oil + freshly ground black pepper till tender - was lovely with the fish dish I had :P

 Saw a recipe for Tomato curd today somewhere, like lemon but with toms. XX Jeannine

Made some passata today 0 & my freezer is full of roasted yomato sauce (for pasta, chickken etc.

Make piles of tomato sauce. It's best if you remove the skins really but that is easy if you pour boiling water over them. Cook them gently with some olive oil, half tsp sugar, basil if you have it or parsley will do, salt & pepper. I also add lemon juice - not a lot, for a bit of zing or a bit of cider vinegar. Keep checking for taste.  It's sooo... good for you. All that Lycopene!
