Title: saving beans for seed

 i have climbing beans and want to save some seed is it best to just leave them up the sticks or gather them and put them in the dry

Leave pods on the plants till they turn brown and go dry then harvest. Once harvested, spread out somewhere to make sure they are completely bone dry before storing. If you have space, leave the beans in the pods until required, but they can be shelled if you wish.
