What's your top 5?
Very difficult with so many varieties and I'll probably change my mind soon, but here goes
Tazmanian Habanero - Unusual black turning to deep red mega hot pods, huge yields
(http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g220/Biscombe/TazHab.jpg)
Pueblo - Clusters or upward pointing pods, beautlful!
Frenso - Sorry to be boring, but for heat, flavor, and meatiness you can't beat it!
7 Pod - A stunning rare super hot
(http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g220/Biscombe/7pots.jpg)
Hot Lemon - A fantastic addition to vodka! Makes great yellow sauce

OK! Top 3! ;) come on folks!
Ok ok
Piccies in a later edit: meanwhile,
Purple Venezuelan: Look like little green and purple peas (till they go red), and if you cook them at that stage, they go perfectly pea-coloured. Great for blowing people's heads off in curries cos they think they are indeed peas! Whole plant pretty much purple from flowers to leaves. Pretty but lethal. Hard to find.
Old Mother's Teats (wonder what the spellchecker will do with *that*!)
Look like the hot lemons pictured above. Quite hot. Also quite hard to find.
Thai Dragon
Just perfect for blowing up a chilli con whatever.
moonbells
Brill moonbells!!
You are a wicked person masquerading your Purple Venezuelan's as peas! ;) ;) ;D
Just five? I can't do it.....
(in no particular order)
Kung Pao
Espanola
Poinsettia
Orozco
Bolivian
Royal Black
Fish
Hidalgo
Mirasol
Georgia Flame - crunchiness and flesh.
Whippet's tail - length and number of seeds
Bolivian Rainbow - colours
Black Hungarian - blackness!
I don't know whether to add the world's hottest (bhut jolokia),
as I haven't tried them yet, they are still ripening.
