to live overseas...what would you just have to take with you.XX Jeannine
Nothing really........ apart from Wife and kids I suppose ;D ;D
my 5 cats and the oh
At least 3 of my guitars - one to play, one to look at and one for posterity...
You thinking of moving Jeannine? ::)
I couldn't think of it right now. Too many memories. Wouldn't know where to go.
Apart from the family and livestock, my sewing machine and my music, and all my craft stuff, and all my gadgets, favourite books, favourite pictures,...in fact, a removal van full of my very own ;D
Everything, except my raincoat.
OH,laptop,my new shoes,all my family,the lottie,our local park,who am i kidding i couldnt do it!
:'(
A few actual "things" which reminded me of good times I have had. Maybe a postcard of somewhere I enjoyed visiting, a pressed flower of same, that kind of thing. Stuff that weighs very little, but means a lot!
:-\
Hi Jeannine... would have to be
* my grandchildren, who give me so much fun
* my sons, daughters & sons in law, who I'm really proud of
* my wife, who, having spent 33 years putting up with me deserves me looking after her
Though after totting up the airfares for that lot maybe I'd stay put!
EVERTHING HEHEHEHE!!!!
All of my photos and that's it.
Mmmmmm!!! all of YOUR? photos Sammy LOL. Mumsie Hahahaha.
The OH, my dog and all of our photos/keepsakes.
Everything else can be replaced (assuming there's some money to replace it of course (in my case unfortunately there isn't!!)).

Yes, good point, I will also have to come and retrieve all of
my pictures that have found their way into
your albums ......... ;D ;D :o
I did it!
I hired a Luton body Transit and threw my life into it...my bike, my tools, my crafty gear, £45, my 'puter, my deco stuff....the lot, including the concrete bird bath.
"My crafty gear"is that a stripped wooly ,mask and a swag bag then Ken. ;D
That's the one, FL. Took this to play with on the boat over.

Yes we shop at Ikea as well ;)
Have you still got the picture of me Sam. :-[ ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
I've done this before......things you can't get in the country you're moving too e.g. when moving from NZ to UK I loaded up with Sunshine clothes pegs ...better than any I've ever bought here! Stuffed my face for several days with Tamarillo's and Kumara
From the UK to NZ.....I'd have to take Ikea, the Lake District and Edinburgh! For that the UK could have Auckland in return ;D
Seriously, Family photo's, my sewing machine and music collection and my two boys......but they'd be happy to go anyway might be different when they leave home and get married though...oopps I forgot my husband...ssshh! don't tell him.....add him on quick though his Mum is not going to like that.
I did move two years ago and took literaly everything. Seemed like a good idea at the time ::). Used lots of the stuff but have an amazing amount of 'why did I bring this'. The loft are of the barn will be bedrooms, husband got tools in all the other areas. Now insisted that he has to build a cubby hole room to home the things that I want to keep i.e. photos, spare towles bedding, things from our childhoods etc. Driving over with a VW polo stuffed to the hilt with ??? and two cats was one heck of an experience.
