Looking really good Tee Gee, you have a great selection of crops still on the go  ;D  I've had to start a new plot from scratch this year after a move and I've enjoyed every bit of it:)

I can not tell a lie!!

No!!  it is dug with a spade then raked to level.

My soil is relatively fine!

For instance when I begin my winter digging i.e. after I have lifted my potatoes, I can push my spade in a full spit deep into it without the use of my foot such is its consistency.

In fact the onion bed was dug about two weeks ago and has been levelled by the action of the rain.

On the down side; I have to 'muck' it every year to keep it in the form it is or else it would turn into sand.
