Did anyone else see the Grow Your Own Veg repeat tonight? It featured Sarah on her plot. I missed it last time, so I was glad of the opportunity to see it.
b***ocks, I missed it :-\ :(
Watch it again on the computer Mal.
just watched it :-\
I just watched it too, weren't we lucky to know her? :'( She was so knowledgable and I learnt so much from her.
T.
How and where could I watch it again please?
EJ, On the BBC I Player under the homes and gardens section.
Hope you find it. :)

I hope this is the link to it.
I went into iPlayer, then categories, then factual, then homes and gardens and it is in the alphabetical listing. I have never done this before so there may be an easier way, but at least I found it.
Enjoy..

the programs a load of c**p
^^ Well, you're entitled to your opinion but this thread isn't actually about the programme, it's about a lovely lady featured on it who was a cherished member of this site before she passed away. Now I appreciate you may not have known this, but having read the posts preceding yours, there are clues! >:(
MUSTAVA, we can do without your comments thank you. >:( This is a very sensitive post.
mustavagander, before you shoot your gob off, it might help if you research a bit more deeply the supersprout thread.
She was a much loved, and revered member of this site who sadly passed away.
She is sorely missed

It was so great to see it again, every time someone says "passata" I think of her, and there were the bottles on the greenhouse staging...
:-\
Calm down calm down....dont over react. ::)
He never mentioned the person in question... Mustavagander said the "program" was crap, which it was.. Yes it was an off topic comment - but it was'nt a dis-respectful comment was it now.
Just great - I've now got a couple of screenshots of her to add to those when she visited - & took all my Kilners!!
Not very flattering photos though.
I have the program on cd that someone from here sent me just after Supersprout passed away. I only knew the lady for a very short while but she made a lasting impression on me. Everytime I mulch the plot with straw I think of her.
Keef, of course you are right , we are all still very sensitive about her.
yes it probably was an over reaction in the cold light of day. Thank you for your sensible post on the subject. :D
Yes i saw the programme it was nice to see her and remember her. She is missed.
What a great programme,I found it to be so encouraging :)

Mustava, I did think there would be folks here now who wouldn't know what I was on about, so perhaps I should have clarified things. Sorry.
I totally agree, CK is irritating at the best of times. Even my 20something non gardening daughter commented on the fact. :o

Yup, saw those. :'(
Busy doing likewise here at present.
I have Jerusalem artichokes growing in my garden and plot that supersprout sent me whilst I was still a newish member, they still make me think of the funny messages that she sent me. It was great to see her on the program from last night. :)
Thanks Emaggie, the perfect way to finish my evening, watching Sarah and her allotment. I also have jerusalem artchokes from Sarah, and beetroot seeds. The artichokes we eat some off, and we save some, the beetroot I am yet to have the heart to sow.
I too have some beetroot seeds saved. Somehow I just can't sow it either EJ.
Many thanks for the link - I have watched it at last!
Bless that supersprout! I swapped many seeds with her over the years, such an enthusiast, great lady, i miss her :( I can't get iplayer over here, I'll have a look on youtube.............
