Thought I would just post to say thanks to all those that have taken part in seed swaps. This year I have grown and loved the following from seed swaps:
Artichokes - green globe and violette romansco
Beans - Mother Stallard, meraviglio e venezio, blue coco, purple teepee
Beetroot - Pink chioggia
Tomatoes - japanese black trifele, black plum (plus lots of others to try next year)
brassica's - white sprouting broc, milan purple top turnips
orache big red - lovely
All have been really lovely and I wouldn't have tried if it wasn't for seed swaps.

I've been thrilled with the generosity of fellow A4Aers - everything from Chillies to Capers and Sweetcorn to Spanish Broom!
Two special mentions - the Leek Bleu de Solaise which is currently thriving interplanted with my St Victor leeks, giving me a fabulous blue and purple display on the plot... :o
...and the regular supply of used compost (with occasional added outbuildings), absolutely ideal for mulching the flower borders in the garden - you know who you are! ;D
