Amazingly I haven't got a newer one with her wonderful shed on!
:-[
Bump!
Still tidying up the big greenhouse, can do that in the rain! ;D
Well managed to sort that out but bad light has stopped play for tonight!
::)
Bump again, thought DebP might do it
Bump... :-X
I can highly recommend this to anyone who is free to go!! A FABULOUS allotment site, not like your ordinary big open site but lots of enclosed garden type allotments with clipped hedges and picket gates into most plots, beautiful!
shhhhh, so far, so good ;D
bumping this for you, Ray says are there chocolate biscuits ?
I've printed the map out ;D
we'll have to come now ;D
I'd love to, but it's a bit too far :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(
Good luck with the day, though :) :) :) :) :) :)
Hope you all have a great day.
Unfortunately I will be sitting on a beach in the Med sunning myself so cannot make it this year.
Thanks Manics... will make sure there are Biccies.... not sure about the weather though! ::)
got new waterproofs, specially for the occasion, well, this weather ::) ;D ;D
do you still have it, even if it's thrashing it down?
Yep, we have some poor weather contingency plans... mostly revolving aroud the site hut, gazebo and big Greenhouse. Couldn't fit many in, but if it's that wet it might be enough for the reduced numbers... :-X
good-o, will bring the wellies and big brolly...seriously, here's hoping the weather perks up :)
If you are lucky I'll let you shelter in me shed...... ;D ;D ;D
as long as you don't expect us to weed ;D
mind you, don't think you have any, looking at the pictures ;D
We all know the camera never lies!!!!!! ;D
Bump :o
I went to the open day last September and this year in June and it really is a fab site (I may have said that before!! ::) )
The link below is to my blog showing last years visit to the littleover plots ...........

Thanks Womble... ;D
Bump again... ::)
Hope the weather improves for you :) :) :) :) :)
So do I, the bottom plot is almost under water... and I will need a boat to cross the moat into the polytunnel!! :-[
Hope you have a great day, too far for me I'm afraid, is that the sun 8) coming out. ;D ;D ;D
Lets hope so Kev! 8)
Do hope it dries up a bit for you!
Im doing my 'sundance' for you as i type (hence the wobbly text :lol )
Im of to the Amature garden show on the Sunday ...sorry.
Hope its a great day :)
I'm off in the rain to do a bit of tidying up so it all looks OK for tomorrow! We will also be selling our renowned Veggy Samosas at the tea bar....we always sell out! ;D
and if we don't the staff love them too! ;D
How did it go?
Well it stayed dry most of the day, and even a bit of sunshine. We had 50+ through the gates, way down on June... 144+ Made £350 ish... £200 for the NGS and the rest for the association.. Can think of worse ways to spend a Sunday, and the Water Melon was almost ripe, we ate it anyway, it would have been a shame to waste it!! ;D
well done, a good result in adverse conditions :)
Glad to hear it wasn't a wash-out! Well done!
Great that it stayed dry for you, shame the numbers were lower for you but still a good amount made well done!! I wish we had been able to come but our friends in Derby were unavailable so our bed for the night wasn't there and too far for us to travel just for the day!! Look forward to next year now, the rest of this year feel like a washout now!!! :-\
Picked about 5 Kilos of tomatoes today Womble... see the other thread..
;D
