Thank you!! The doorbell has been ringing all morning with flowers and plants and champagne!! so not complaining so far. My niece made us all breakfast and presented me with floral secateurs as a birthday present. I'm hoping to potter in the garden for a couple of hours and then this evening I'm off to see a show with buffet with my 2 boys my nephew and my niece. I'll report back later!

Well it was a lovely day. Pottered happily in the garden and decided where to plant my new bulbs, cake and champagne at four (they got cake from the Sicilian bakery in Leith) and then we all went to the show at the golf club. It was very funny although very much watershed stuff and started late so the buffet wasn't available till ten by which time we were pretty hungry!! Good evening nevertheless and the kids (all 6 of them) were great company. Once home we sat and watched Stardust on dvd and then to bed.
