Title: Identification of plant.
Post by: Baaaaaaaa on August 25, 2008, 01:19:48
Anybody know what this plant is please. The one that looks a bit like an asparagus, in front of the Acer but behind the poppies.

Here is a pic from June - just budding.

I would look in a house plants book for an answer. I am looking at one right now on my shelf. But I do not know what it is called

That's asparagus alright. Looks a little week though. Google the subject of rearing asparagus. Play your card right and in few years (it does take a while) you should have lovely asparagus, fresh out of the garden on your plate.
