Title: Ostergruss radishes revisited
Post by: Hyacinth on August 24, 2008, 13:02:04
...once more I've had a splendid and long-cropping season of these monsters - and discovered that they slice nicely in stir-fries too! As I previously mentioned, I was going to leave some of these to seed and produce the truly delicious seed pods, which they're now doing. Pretty to look at too while they're in flower 8)

Anyone know if it's too late to seed another crop, tho?

Thanks.

 Hi Alishka,  :D
I am a big fan of these monster radish`s too :o Having been put on to them by a thread on this site, I have just sown a row 4 days ago, (21st August) & they have already germinated & I see no reason why , giving their speed of growth, you should not sow a row now. I think they will grow just great. 8)
