Title: toms under glass
Post by: lottie lou on August 23, 2008, 14:56:19
HELP - just noticed this afternoon that the leaves on my toms have gone dry, brown and crispy.  They were okay last night when I put them to bed and okay this morning when I woke them up.  What has happened and how can I cure?

Any advice appreciated.

If they are turning that quickly I would suspect physical damage, even above blight, either way I would have them off and out (The damaged leaves) ASAP in the hope that the rest of the plant is OK...  :-\

thanks for advice Saddad.  When I went up to put them to bed, the leaves seemed rehydrated with what looks like scorch marks.  Do you think today's sun might have done that

did you water the plants to early maybe the sun got hold of the leaves and scorched them a little
toma like watering little and often no more than a litre to two a day depending how large a container only water them as they look a little limp (leafs tips start to curl ) sounds to me a bit of irregular watering going on this affects the leaves colour as well
