I spent close on an hour, yesterday, doing just that. Can barely walk today!

If they are still coming, you/we missed the eggs the first time around.

So long as the 'heart' is intact, they'll survive.

For once the Nasturtiums are providing a useful decoy... the massive colonies of stripey ones are all on them, and getting squished, only the green solitaries are bothering with the brassicas and I think I'm on top of them as well...  ;D

Same here - think I am on top of the green ones but they are the ones that head straight for the heart so having to squich most days. As I am rubbing off the eggs as well I am finding heard to imagine where they are all coming from - can they march in from other plots?
