debster - why ever would you not want to go?  It's such an achievement and unless it is going to cause you problems regarding paying to get to the venue or difficulty getting time off work, I think you might wonder in the future whether it was something you should have done.  It won't be the same receiving it via Royal Mail.  Go and enjoy the day.

Hi Debster. Of course you should go. It must have taken alot of time and effort to get your degree. Go and enjoy your special day with your family and friends if you can. :)

Debster go and enjoy the day, it is an experience that might never happen again ;) and you need to grab the chance while you can, you have worked so hard go and have the glory.

I have just finished a course - nothing as hard as what you have done, but was sad that the certificate just arrived in the post.

Enjoy yourself, and we would love to see a photo of you in your mortar board. :)

I say go. When I picked my MSc. up I felt great, plus it was nice to see the people I had done the course with again. I'ts a laugh getting togged up, but no-one feels silly 'cos you all do it. My OH shouted out and whistled when I walked across the stage, and made everyone laugh! ;D
