Title: Disposing of blight infected material

Had to dig up all my outoor toms today as blight had struck. Just wondered, is it ok to take them to the tip and put in the greens section?

blighted plants are o.k. in a hot composting process. ;)

I agree with Tony.  The council composters will reach a much higher temperature than a home composting arrangement and kill off all nasties.
