....not my prob. but a friend today said that she'd taken the new update and since then she can't receive mails tho can send them. She's uninstalled/reinstalled twice, has checked that the correct boxes are ticked in 'properties' and that her firewall is also checked to allow Incredimail. Anything else she can do, does anyone know, please?

I use outlook express or outlook if you have office on your machine
Outlook Express is within every copy of windows so it will be on your machine just set up your email details in it then get you emails on that.
If your friend used outlook before incredimail then its probably still set up using this will at least get there mails
If you are still having problems then its could down to your friends mail provider (bt, talktalk,virgin etc)
I've just seen this reply, and thanks for it. I saw the friend yesterday & there seem to be other functions that just aren't happening either & I reckon it might be her ISP provider? Anyway, she's going to get A Man In to sort it for her ;) Thanks for your reply 8)
