Title: sodium chlorate

Has anyone got any info on the perils of using this stuff in public areas where animals and children frequent .I really do need this info ASP

I wouldnt use it anywhere where people and pets  have access .Its very toxic . Also  if its carried on your boots to your garden, your going to get bare patches where stuff wont grow for quite a while .

I used it on a no mans land area between me and my allotment neighbors it took the nettles down a treat but everything else grew around it,invested in some good undiluted roundup(cheap as well)that has made it a wasteland and was told that after 5mins of spraying it is totally safe for animals and humans but never tried to find out if it were true
