Title: grey leaves on tomato plant

Hi every 1 
I am new to this site and have been reading every 1s different comments its a great site and i have a little problem and hope some 1 can help me with
my friends son has grown a tomato plant in school before the holidays and had put it on the window sill in the kitchen her fella repotted it with soil from their garden which was full of clay i told them i would repot it and keep at our house in the greenhouse my niece is in the same class as him and i also have hers at my house which is thiving and has flowers on The leaves have turned grey on my friends sons plant

could it be a touch of mildew?  too damp, not enough fresh air ?
