Title: what are they doing!
Post by: adeymoo on August 04, 2008, 09:11:00
My F1 Sundance sweetcorn are about 4 foot high and have THREE cobs per plant. The tassles have started to go dry and brown which I thought indicated the cobs were ready but the cobs are only 35mm wide. What do I do - do I remove a cob from each plant to give the others a chance?

I would be hugely excited if I got 3 cobs per plant. That's 90 in all...

I am beginning to worry as we tend to pick a lot of currants and berries for freezing - mmmmm summer fruit puddings in winter.
