I dug up a row of Ulster Sceptre today and althought there were some great sized spuds, nearly every one had slug holes in. >:(
The row of Charlotte next to them was not touched by slugs, and although this may be because the soil around the U.S. was much wetter, I was wondering whether people have found some varieties more slug-resistant than others?
desiree and kestrel, don't suffer the same , imo :)
That's encouraging as i've got both of those to come!
