Hello Gina and welcome. Physallis are sometimes called Cape Gooseberries. They taste something like a cross between a Tomato and a Gooseberry and I love them. :D

hiya, gina, welcome to the site,
we bought some fruit to try last year and loved the taste, bought some seeds, we've three plants, someone said on here they were thugs, I didn't think so, but they are, they're taking over ;D
...and you'll never need to buy another seed - EVER!
