Title: raspberry pests

ive noticed that some of my raspberry leaves have curld up - i burst one open and there is a small green catapiller inside it - any ideas and suggests of treating?

Could be any kind of sawfly or fruit moth larvae. If there aren't too many of them I would just pick them off, or you could spray, depending on your ethicsin which case the Organic Pest Control spray from the Organic Gardening Catalogue is quite effective, or derris might work.

Or dont open the curled leaf, just squash it. They appear in lots of different leaves and when you open them up the pillar is very fast and drops to the ground never to be seen again ;)
